AT&T’s AUDIENCE Network and Fullscreen have come together to co-produce their latest TV series Cassandra French’s Finishing School. Based on the novel by Eric Garcia, the comedy explores one topic that many millennials can relate to – the struggle of dating in today’s society.
Played by Jessica Russell, Cassandra is a 23-year-old publicist with a promising career, a close group of friends and good looks to match her success. Cassandra believes that great girls deserve great boyfriends, but why are decent guys so hard to find? She just wants a guy who’s ready for a mature relationship.
Rather than rely on fate, Cassandra decides to fix things herself. After a terrible night out, she accidentally knocks her date unconscious. She then traps the poor boy in her basement and enrolls him in her own finishing school to teach him how to become a gentleman.
Watch the hilarity ensue in the eight half-hour episodes that will premiere on DIRECTV and AT&T’s AUDIENCE Network on Feb. 17. Tune in to AT&T U-verse Channel 1114 and DIRECTV Channel 239 to watch Cassandra French’s Finishing School. The DIRECTV exclusive series can also be streamed using the DIRECTV and U-verse Apps. After these eight episodes have aired, they will be moving over to Fullscreen’s SVOD (Streaming Video on Demand) service.
